南蛮𫜤舌

旧时讥侮南方方言之语。𫜤， 为伯劳鸟。 《孟子·滕文公》：“今也南蛮𫜤舌之人，非先王之道。”意为孟子讥讽楚人许行说话如鸟语。清采蘅子《虫鸣漫录》：“彼时江以南，为南蛮𫜤舌之乡。”

南蛮𫜤舌nán mán jué shé

shrike-tongued bar barian of the south [said ironically of people speaking a southern dialect]/今也～之人，非先王之道。(《孟子·滕文公上》) Now here is this shrike-tongued barbarian of the south,whose doctrines are not those of the ancient kings.

南蛮𫜤舌nánmán-juéshé

〔偏正〕 南蛮，古时因南方不如北方开化，故称南方为蛮。𫜤，伯劳鸟。 讥讽南方人说话像𫜤鸟鸣叫一样，很难听懂。语出《孟子·滕文公上》：“今也南蛮𫜤舌之人，非先王之道。”清·采蘅子《虫鸣漫录》：“彼时江以南，为～之乡。”
