枭首示众xiāo shǒu shì zhòng

过去的一种酷刑，把犯人的头颅砍下来并高高挂起，让大家都能看到，以警戒他人。cut off one’s head and hang it up as a warning to at all, cut off sb.’s head and display to the public, display a criminal’s head

旧时酷刑。把人头砍下并高挂起来，使众人都看到。
〔例〕只见伪军头目恶狠狠地说道：“有胆敢投降者，一定将他～。”
【提示】“枭”不读niǎo。

枭首示众xiāoshǒu-shìzhòng

枭首：斩首并将其头悬挂起来。旧时处死犯人的一种手段。指把人头砍下并高挂起来，使众人都能看到，以示警戒。

古代的一种酷刑。把头砍下后挂起来示众。

枭首示众xiao shou shi zhong

枭：斩首并悬挂起来。砍下人头，悬挂示众，以收惩戒之效。
