吹药

通过喷药器或消毒细竹管装药吹入人体孔窍的一种外治法。如将冰硼散吹入口腔咽喉，或将一些药物研末吹入鼻腔或耳内等部位，以治疗局部肿痛。

吹药

是用于口腔、咽喉、耳、鼻等处疾病的散剂。因古时多以纸筒、细竹管、苇管，将药吹入上述器官中，故名。例如，小儿咽喉肿痛、气闭不通，用生甘草、朴硝研为细末（吹喉散）吹入喉中以治之等。
