年岁大，品德好：共举～之人为塾掌，专为训课子弟。(九·201)二则别人之父母皆～之人，独他（邢岫烟）父母偏是酒糟透之人，于女儿分中平常。(五七·1354)

用于祝贺德高望重的老人。亦作“年高德劭”，“劭”，即高、美好。

年高有德nián gāo yǒu dé

a member of advanced years and known integrity; an elderly man of good reputation
❍ 凡族中为官者，皆有帮助银两，以为学中膏火之费； 举～之人为塾师。 (《红楼梦》109)❶It was supported by those with official positions,who contributed according to the size of their stipends and an elderly man of good reputation in the clan was elected to take charge of the boys’instruction.
